Anti-Bacterial Protected Vinyl

Assist Tables' hard-wearing vinyl is coated with Sanitized molecules to help control and prevent the growth of bacteria, fungi, mold, viruses and coronaviruses. Tested with viral strains such as feline coronavirus (similar to SARS-COV 2), the antifungal and antimicrobial properties offer the reduction of viral activity by over 86%, providing a contribution towards improving infection control.

An added benefit to the antimicrobial properties within the vinyl, is that it aids towards preventing germs from gaining a source of food from their environment, such as sweat and fibres, making it almost impossible for the growth and activity of bacteria, yeasts and fungi. Assist Tables' vinyl also provides the advantage of reducing the possibility of bad odours, as the chance of mold developing is avoided. This additionally allows the surface of the vinyl to provide safe and durable protection for the clinical environment.

By integrating antimicrobial additives into the vinyl, the lifespan and durability of the upholstery will thus be improved and provide the user with long-lasting protection.

Furthermore, it can be noted that the Sanitized properties used are environmentally friendly and are harmless to human health.
